Dan and Paul,
Well, there just aren't
words to describe how
wonderful Brenda's wedding
was. However, as I saw
guests leaving I just wanted
to pull them back and be
caught in that time forever.
Everything either met or
exceeded my expectations. I
really appreciated your
attention to details and
preparedness prior to the
wedding. Then your
responsiveness during the
wedding to small issues was
terrific.
In my line of work we always
recommend a lesson learned
or debriefing at the end of
a project. Here is mind for
this event:
Things that went very well:
* Planning - Five Star!
* Your listening to the
customer. You taking our
thinking and bringing it to
reality was the best
customer service I received
from any vendor when
organizing this wedding.
Actually, the best I've
received in life in a long
time.
* Attention to details!!!
GREAT - the added ideas and
points prior to the wedding
right down to the finger
towels and lotion in the
bathrooms was noticed by
guests and very helpful.
Room setup complimented the
facility and flow of
traffic. Place settings
created a sense of
preparedness for each
individual guest.
* Set-up - perfect! As
mother of the bride I never
felt I had to take care of
anything. The first time I
saw the set-up I knew there
was nothing to worry about.
* Service for guests - there
were compliments over and
over from guest after guest
about how good the food was,
how great the service was
and how
beautiful everything was and
most importantly how much
FUN everyone was having.
* Other service staff were
handled well - the chocolate
fountain
company, florist, band and
particularly the babysitters
expressed how easy anything
they wanted was provided.
* The Food was great! I
have some family that assets
every activity
in life with how good the
food is. Not only did they
go on and on about the how
good the food and how
plentiful it was, but so did
many of the guests. Thanks
for taking care of the
Vegetarians too.
* Lack of chaos and
confusion!!
* While I personally think
finances are secondary in
making sure a
wedding is the fruition of a
little girl's dream, reality
has to step in.
Unless you have planned a
wedding before it's very
difficult to understand
spending the cost of a
tangible item such as a nice
car for a wedding. Your cost
was very reasonable for the
service provided to the
extent that had I known what
I was getting I would have
probably been willing to
have paid more.
* Hanging in till the very
end - I appreciated the
conversation we had as we
were leaving. Finding out
that you all had another
activity the next day but
were willing to talk to us
as if this was the last
thing for weeks really meant
a lot. The delivery of the
grilled chicken breast to
the best man when he
indicated he was hungry as
he carried out the gifts had
to be the ultimate!
* Your Wedding Coordinator
- I don't know what we would
have done without her.
Priceless!!!
Things for consideration
next time: While I'm not
planning to be the mother of
the bride again here are a
couple of items that you
might note to future
customers or I might mention
to friends. With each
wedding unique I'm sure it's
impossible to cover
everything.
* The Wolff family's
children not having a table
reserved.
Recommendation: I did think
about the cons of not having
place cards for all guests
and I still would not have
done that; however, I would
recommend considering all
the people involved in
pictures for seating no
matter how long the pictures
take. This issue probably
occurred because of the
large number of children in
the family and them wanting
to sit together. Again you
responded to this as quickly
as possible and with a
favorable solution of
another table. (don't
hesitate to charge for
this) I'm sure as year go
by that picture will be more
precious than where they
set.
* The band sound set placed
in front of the sign-in
book. Well, that
band was kind-of special
anyway. I hate the little
issue with them because I
did really think they
sounded good. You all
certainly took care of all
that was needed with them.
Recommendation: I don't
have one. This was my first
time dealing with a band,
maybe a band member could
have met with us to describe
their layout needs, but to
have them set up as a dry
run would have been way to
much trouble.
Putting these all together
didn't add up to any
distraction or frustration
to us or the guest. Any one
item wouldn't be worth
mentioning.
Overall, I got so many
compliments on the table
service, the smoothness,
preparedness of the event,
the beauty and the fun
everyone had I was just
overwhelmed. Even today as
I'm seeing people at work
they are going on and on
about the service and fun.
I think you made everyone
feel as though they were
invited to the event of the
year.
One final story: About 10
years ago my sister-in-law's
son married the Westin in
Atlanta manager's daughter.
It was the most spectacular
event I had ever been to.
Her other children have also
had 3 other weddings in the
last 4 years. I did have
that Atlanta wedding in mind
as I planned this one.
During the wedding she came
up to me and said "This
wedding reminds me of David
and Claudine's wedding in
Atlanta, but I think this
may even be better
and is certainly a lot more
fun." I think we hit the
happy median of pomp and
circumstance and down home
comfort.
If I ran a company I would
want every customer to be as
satisfied as I was.
I would like to write you a
thank you note that you
might be able to use as a
reference for future
customers. Please let me
know what form you would
like that to be in and what
comments would most promote
your business.
Thanks for all your hard
work.

Dan-
Thank you, thank you, thank
you for everything this past
weekend. It was everything
I imagined it would be and
everything went perfectly
smooth (except my emotional
cratering but I hear that's
pretty common!). We got
rave reviews on the food and
the facility from everyone.
Thank you for helping my
mom load everything up
yesterday also - I really
appreciate that.
I promise to send photos
for you to use and a report
on the honeymoon in Vietnam
when we get back at the end
of the month.
Take care and have a great
week!

Dan:
We had a great time. The
guests were coming to us
telling us what a beautiful
place it was. People even
milled around
outside. After dark, people
were commenting on all of
the lights. They are such a
nice touch. The food was
just as I expected - very
good - and people were
commenting on how good the
food was. We were very
pleased and everyone had
good times! I would
definitely have another
function with you. Thank
you for your assistance
through all of this.

Dan:
I've been traveling on
business but have been
meaning to email you. I
wanted to let you know how
pleased I was with the way
everything turned out. But
most importantly, I wanted
to tell you how wonderful
Talisa was. She was
incredible that evening.
She made sure everything ran
smoothly and took very good
care of us that night. If
she treats everyone the way
she treated us that evening
then you have truly hit the
jackpot with her. In
addition to everyone telling
us how beautiful the place
was, one of the comments
I've heard more than
anything was how smoothly
everything seem to run that
night and I know it was
because of her hard work.
Speaking on behalf of Mario
and myself, she made us feel
like we were the most
important people there -
next to Tiffany and Aaron,
of course.
Thanks,

Dan -
Wow! Words can't express
how wonderful Emily & Seth's
reception was last night!
People really enjoyed
themselves and commented how
delicious the food was!
Everything looked beautiful
and a number of guests asked
how we found Creekside. So
we did some great
advertising for your
facility!
Thank you so much for all
you did to make it such a
beautiful experience for
everyone! You and your
brother Paul were so
pleasant to work with and
kept me from getting
stressed out about things.
The DJ Paul did a great job,
too! The only complaint we
had was the music was
sometimes too loud -- people
couldn't easily visit
without raising their
voices, and ended up having
to go outside. But he was
very accommodating to turn
down the volume. Emily said
he worked so well with her
in choosing the music and
getting things coordinated
for Seth to play his guitar
and sing a song to Emily.
When we arrived home last
night and unloaded
everything, we found a cake
knife and spatula with white
bows on them. My
sister-in-law was helping
clean up the cake and said
there were 4 utensils on the
table. She asked a waiter if
the utensils belonged to
Creekside. He replied that
only 2 of them did, so she
assumed the other 2 were
ours. I will return them to
you later this week if that
is okay. We are going out of
town for a few days of much
needed relaxation! I will
call you on Thursday to see
when it would be a good time
to meet someone out there.
Again, thank you so much
for making the reception an
event to remember -- the
ultimate culmination of a
very special day for Emily,
Seth and all the guests.
Blessings,
Janet Naumann

Dan & Paul,
Our son got married this
last Saturday, the 20th,
Cole Copeland. I can't tell
you enough how enjoyable
everything was. We have had
so many compliments about
how beautiful your facility
is and how lovely the
wedding turned out. Everyone
stayed much longer then I
could have ever imagined.
The food was very good and
plentiful; it just was the
most perfect event I have
ever been to.
Thank you so much AGAIN! You
guys really know how to
through a great party and
make everyone feel so
special.

Hi
Dan,
I
just wanted to let you know
that the wedding was
perfect...your staff was
absolutely wonderful. They
really did an excellent job,
the food was great, and I
wouldn't have changed a
thing. Stephen and I had an
absolute blast, and just as
important to me, all of our
guests had a really good
time, too. I couldn't have
asked for a better day.
So
THANK YOU for everything,
and please pass on my thanks
to your staff as well. If
you ever need references for
futre events you can put me
on the list.
Best
Regards,

Dan: We (Jenny, Joe, and I)
went to your fine
establishment on Saturday to
taste the BBQ and sides for
the upcoming wedding
reception on January
10th. The food was delicious
and the staff was just
delightful. We had such a
nice time visiting with your
staff and patrons. We have
decided to have the BBQ for
the wedding reception. We
will confirm all this again
at our
two-weeks-before-the-event
meeting.
We just wanted to thank you
for your generosity for our
taste testing excursion and
to let you know how helpful
and friendly your staff was.
We hope you have a wonderful
Thanksgiving holiday
filled great joy.

Dan!
Wanted to let you know that
we rec'd our deposit
refund. Appreciate that!
Also, again, thank you so
much for what you and your
staff did to make Heather
and Steve's reception what
it was. I can't tell you
how many compliments we
received regarding the
venue, food, atmosphere, and
overall organization. Many
had not attended a function
at Creekside--and were
overly impressed. As we
figured, Gary and I did not
get to eat--but we heard
that the food was fabulous.
You made the planning of
this event so easy for
us--and the results were
exactly how Heather and
Steve had hoped it would be.
We will certainly recommend
(and have recommended) your
venue to others. Our very
best to you in your
continued endeavors with
Creekside.
Sincerely,
Gary and Deb Wiley

Hi Dan,
Thanks for the deposit
refund check. I've told
several people about your
open house on Sept. 15.
Hopefully some of them will
make it (lots of friends
with children getting
married in the next year or
so). Everyone that was at
our daughter's wedding was
impressed with the Creekside
facility and staff - there's
no better advertising than
that! Thanks!

Dan,
On behalf of my daughter and
son-in-law, I wanted to
thank you for helping to
make their wedding and
reception this past Sunday a
really nice event. Even
though the turn out wasn't
exactly what we had planned
for, I know they really
enjoyed themselves, as well
as those family members and
friends who attended.
Everyone commented on how
wonderful the food was and
the staff was just wonderful
and very helpful with
everything. We didn't even
have any problems with bugs
during the ceremony so a
very big thank you for that
one!!
Thanks, again!
